Recipe of the Week

Strawberry Pretzel Salad

2 c. crushed small pretzel sticks
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. margarine, melted
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
Lg. container Cool Whip
Lg. package strawberry Jello
2 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. cold water
20 oz. frozen strawberries

Mix pretzels, 1/4 c. sugar and margarine together. Press into 9"x13" dish. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes. Cool. Mix cream cheese, 1 c. sugar and Cool Whip together. Blend well and pour over cooled pretzel crust. Chill. Dissolve jello in boiling water. After dissolved, add cold water; then add frozen fruit. Cool before pouring over cream cheese mixture. Chill.
